The toasted and skinned hazelnuts are a fresh product produced by our land. The hazelnuts are subjected to roasting at a temperature of about 170° for half an hour or a little more. The amount of time necessary to eliminate the residual moisture and enhancing the characteristic flavour of the fruit.
The product is sold in transparent vacuum packs designed to maintain unchanged the fragrance of the toasted hazelnuts. In the kitchen it can be used for making cakes, appetizers, tasty salads and delicious snacks ideal to accompany aperitivi.
Because of their content of omega 3 and omega 6 hazelnuts have therapeutic properties: they help to reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) and to increase the good one (HDL).
